Liza, Wendy, Shawn, and Jordan are absolutely incredible! I enrolled both my daughter’s for swimming lessons. My little one had a very hard time and they were all so patient and kind with her. By the last day she could be fully submerged with no tears (which is such a huge win since she started with such a fear of this). My oldest passed swimming 2 and I can’t believe how much she has learned and how much confidence she has. We definitely will be back next season. Thank you all!

My daughter loves her swim family! Yuma Aqua Academy was phenomenal in instilling a love for water to my daughter! From her private lessons with Coach Sean, to her group lessons with Coach Laiza and the whole team of instructors!!! Currently with Yuma Krakens, she continues to grow and practice her swimming sportsmanship!

If you're looking for a family oriented competition swim team for your kids, this is the best one in town! All the coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging to the entire team. What sets them apart is their ability to remain inclusive of all kiddos, regardless of abilities, disabilities, or health challenges. We have 4 kids thriving on this team and they are happy where they are. All the kiddos on this team, from teenagers to the youngest ones, are all respectful and responsible and you'll always find them lending a hand to their peers, cleaning up and setting up lane lines, and cheering each other on, without even having to be asked!!! We are truly grateful for the safety skills my kids have learned but most importantly, for the life skills gained and the love they receive from the Krakens coaches.

I find it challenging to express the depth of my gratitude towards Yuma Aqua Academy. As a parent who once experienced a near-drowning incident and had personal childhood fears of water, it held immense significance for me that my daughter learned how to swim. The importance of pool safety and swimming skills is undeniable, particularly in a place like Yuma. Yuma Aqua Academy diligently adheres to the guidelines set by the Red Cross, ensuring that every child not only meets but surpasses the required standards before advancing to the next level. Although the initial week was difficult for me, it became evident that all staff members are extensively trained and incredibly attentive. After completing six weeks of swim lessons across three sessions, my daughter can now confidently dive to retrieve objects from the pool floor, jump in, roll over, float, tread water, and is beginning to cover longer distances in swimming. Her water confidence has soared. Speaking on pricing, I was pleasantly satisfied with the session costs, especially considering the substantial amount of meaningful progress each child makes during these classes. I am eagerly anticipating the next summer session. My
